On 15th July the Government of the British Virgin Islands announced that all Covid 19 restrictions had been lifted – effective immediately. You can now travel to the beautiful BVI without having to take either an antigen or PCR test and all screening on arrival has been removed.

So….where to stay? What about Sebastian’s on the Beach at Little Apple Bay on Tortola? You can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing breakfast overlooking the beach.

Another fabulous hotel is Rosewood Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda. This 5 star hotel has recently undergone a multi million dollar refurbishment and looks stunning. The beach is amazing and there are lots of activities available at Rosewood Little Dix Bay. You can enjoy stand up paddleboarding, hobie cat sailing, windsurfing, sailing, tennis and lots of other great stuff too.

If sailing is your passion, look no further, the BVI is the sailing capital of the world. Choose from monohulls, catamarans, power boats or if you can’t sail but want to see the BVI from the water, you can charter by the cabin and let someone else do all the hard work.

Anegada is another amazing island in the BVI and is the most northern. There is a good choice of accommodation and you can either have a lovely villa at Four Diamonds Park Villas or Big Bamboo Cottages or if you prefer an hotel, choose from Anegada Reef Hotel which is right by the ferry dock and barbecues fresh lobster every evening or Anegada Beach Club which has the most romantic Palapa Retreats right next to the sand.
