Bone fishing on Anegada is excellent and there are several local guides who offer trips around the flats and are keen to share their knowledge and expertise with their guests. The largest bonefish landed on Anegada to date was 19lbs on a 10lb test line in 8′ of water. Now there’s a challenge to beat!
One of Anegada’s great attractions is the Horse Shoe Reef which is the fourth largest barrier reef in the world and the diving here is spectacular. However, if you prefer being closer to the surface, the snorkelling off the beach at the Anegada Beach Club is excellent and equipment can be rented at the beach.
Anegada Beach Club has its own Kiteboarding and Paddleboarding School with professional instructors, which will provide endless entertainment for the adventure seekers among the guests. Tommy Gaunt is a world class kitesurfer and certified instructor of kitesurfing and paddleboarding and offers all levels of lessons from beginners to advanced, allowing guests to fully enjoy their experience on the water.
There is also beach badminton, volleyball and kayaking available to guests and if you fancy a bit of exploring – scooters, dirt bikes and bicycles are all available to rent.
