The British Virgin Islands never cease to amaze me. I have just returned from what must be my 70th trip to these beautiful islands and each time I visit, there is something new to discover.
Tortola has many hotels villas and yachts and they are all very different. Included in my visits was the Sugar Mill Hotel – a lovely boutique hotel offering excellent food and first class service. I was shown their refurbished rooms, some of which have new bathrooms but I was more excited about the news that they have recently introduced a sail away package. Instead of the usual 5 nights minimum stay on the boat however, they are offering just 3 nights which gives guests a taster of what life on the ocean wave is all about. The boat is based on Tortola at Manuel Reef and is a 51′ power catamaran called “Sweet Dreams”. She has 3 air-conditioned cabins which are all en-suite and plenty of space for guests to relax and enjoy. Sweet Dreams has a very convivial flybridge where guests can congregate and sip their favourite cocktail as the sun sinks below the horizon.

Sweet Dreams has water toys for guests to enjoy including a clear bottom kayak and snorkel gear. The package is inclusive of all meals, drinks, free Wi-Fi and taxes. Crew gratuity is additional.
Sweet Dreams also has a swim platform which lowers right into the water making for easy access in and out of the water.

This is a typical itinerary but is subject to change at the discretion of the captain.

Snorkelling at the Indians is incredible. The water is about 50 feet deep and you can see all the way to the bottom. The Indians is one of the most popular snorkelling and diving spots in the BVI and the marine life is so diverse – when on holiday in the British Virgin Islands, this is a must do.

You absolutely must put the BVI at the top of your list for your next holiday. For information and reservations contact BVI Holidays today.
