Another year is drawing to a close and we are about to welcome in 2014.

As the years march on (scarily rapidly!) a number of Caribbean islands sadly succumb to commercialism and mass tourism with high rise hotels springing up all over the place.

Thankfully, this is not the case in the still unspoilt, uncrowded and uncommercialised British Virgin Islands, which comprise around 60 small islands – the majority of which are uninhabited and offer white sand beaches, bowing palm trees and beckoning hammocks.

The diving and snorkelling are excellent because the reefs are protected and well preserved.

If you are wondering what to do for your holiday this year – look no further – a true paradise awaits!
