The brilliant innovation of a walk around side-deck is so simple but so logical, it is a wonder it has never been done before. The side deck slopes down towards the helm station each side so that there is no more clambering over thwarts and coamings to get to the side deck – you simply walk around the helm. The aft cabins are not compromised, as the 410 carries her beam well aft. The other evolutionary design is that the cockpit coamings are hinged, and fold down to make flat lounging day beds whenever you want.

The design excels below decks as well. Instead of a V berth double cabin forward, the double is offset to give a Queen size double to starboard, with an en-suite head and shower on the port side. The two doubles aft, share a head and shower which is on the starboard side of the saloon. Another stroke of brilliance is that all drawers and cabinets open parallel to the centreline, so nothing flies out when opened underway.
