One of the things that makes Sundowner so special is its private location. It’s ideal for couples who would like a secluded holiday just for two. It has its own lane which is actually called Paradise Lane, Virgin Gorda and where you can park your rental vehicle. From here, simply walk down the stone steps, through the gardens and onto the villa’s sun deck.

Sundowner is a short walk from the Sugarcane Restaurant and Bar at Nail Bay and 10 minutes drive from a variety of restaurants on Virgin Gorda Island. The views from Hog Heaven restaurant on Virgin Gorda are stunning and less than 10 minutes drive from Sundowner. A visit to Coco Maya is a must and this beachside restaurant complete with fire pit is also a short drive from Sundowner.

If you want to stay in but don’t want to cook, in-villa catering can be arranged and your own private chef will come to Sundowner and prepare a gastronomic meal just for you.

Sundowner offers a wealth of amenities to make you feel right at home. There are two 32-inch flat screen TVs, and an accompanying DVD player. Also provided is an Apple iPad which contains information about the Sundowner villa, music and over 25 movies. Skype and Facetime are also loaded. There is Wi-Fi internet throughout the property.

The King size bed is elevated affording spectacular views of the Caribbean sea and the bathroom has an outdoor shower with a view.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need including a full spice rack. There is a stainless steel fridge and freezer, dishwasher, toaster oven, espresso machine and coffee maker and even a bread maker. A washing machine and dryer are also provided for your convenience.

Sundowner has air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout to keep you cool during the hottest periods.

Sundowner has a spacious sun deck, which has a small infinity-edge pool with waterfall. There’s also a covered section which contains a dining table, wicker bar, seating area with comfy sofas and loungers and a stainless steel gas grill for barbeque evenings. There is also a small herb garden to complement your culinary skills.

You are only steps away from Sundowner’s own beach and the owner has thoughtfully provided kayaks for guests’ use.

There is a lot to do on Virgin Gorda and the Sports Club at Nail Bay is a few minutes walk. There you can play tennis, squash, table tennis, work out in the gym and then cool off in the swimming pool. Leverick Bay is about 10 minutes drive and here you can hire a motor boat, stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, hobie cats and experience fly-boarding with Blue Rush Water Sports. If you would like to dive, Dive BVI is located at the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour where you can book day or night-time diving and snorkel trips.

A day out on the water is great fun and you can book a trip with Captain Dave at Double D Charters. Again, they are located at the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour.

You can also take the ferry to Tortola or Anegada for the day. The ferry dock on Virgin Gorda is about 10 minutes drive from Sundowner.

If all of this sounds too much like hard work, you can simply chill out on the beach at Sundowner.

The Spa at Leverick Bay is approximately 10 minutes drive from Sundowner and offers a variety of treatments – facials, massage, manicures, pedicures etc.. If you would prefer to have a massage in the comfort of your accommodation, the Leverick Bay Spa therapists will come to Sundowner.

Travelling to the BVI

Travelling from New York, Boston or Miami

If you would like to have a few nights in New York, Boston or Miami before heading to BVI, this can also be arranged. The onward flight is via Puerto Rico which is a 35 minute hop over to the British Virgin Islands or again, a private charter can be arranged.
