Perched on the rocky southeast cliffs of Oil Nut Bay are The Cliff Suites – deluxe one-bedroom suites with amazing views of the Caribbean sea through floor to ceiling sliding glass windows and offering complete privacy.

The Cliff Suites

Each suite includes a large master bedroom, one and a half bathrooms, outdoor open-air shower, lounge, wet bar, spacious sun terraces, private outdoor plunge pool, and other outstanding features including a bath tub with a stunning view.

The Cliff Penthouse

The Cliff Penthouse Suite at Oil Nut Bay sits at the highest point and is even more spacious offering a wrap around outdoor terrace and full size swimming pool. The Cliff Penthouse has been luxuriously styled by FENDI Casa and includes signature FENDI Casa décor and furnishings throughout the living room, master bedroom and plentiful outdoor spaces.

Each suite is air-conditioned and provides a Gaggia Italian espresso coffee maker, fridge, soft drinks and snacks which are replenished daily, bathrobes and slippers and an electric cart for your ease of access throughout the resort. iPads are provided for your convenience and your in-room wi-fi is free of charge.

Bay Suites

Tucked into the hillside at Oil Nut Bay and close to the Beach Club, the Bay Suites offer a luxurious, comfortable retreat. Sliding glass doors open onto your terrace complete with comfy lounging furniture and the Bay Suites offer flat screen TV in both living room and bedroom. There is a soaking tub and outdoor shower, kitchenette area with wet bar and fridge and the Bay Suites are within a few minutes walk of the main resort centre, although an electric cart is provided for ease of access.

Oil Nut Bay offers accommodation to suit almost everyone. From one-bedroom luxury suites and villas to seven-bedroom villas sleeping up to 18 guests.

The villas at Oil Nut Bay are scattered throughout the resort in designated neighbourhoods such as the Beach Neighbourhood, the Boulder Neighbourhood, the Atlantic Ridge Neighbourhood etc. All of the neighbourhoods at Oil Nut Bay are only a short cart ride away from the Beach Club and the Marina Village.

All of the villas at Oil Nut Bay are completely different and individually built.

Complimentary soft drinks and snacks are provided in the villas and an electric cart is provided for your convenience.

The Beach Club Restaurant at Oil Nut Bay is the vibrant, social heart of the resort, offering a relaxed yet sophisticated open-air setting directly on the pristine, white sand beach. The Beach Club features a swim-up bar and casual lounging areas, perfect for enjoying your favourite cocktail while soaking up the sun.

Nova Restaurant at Oil Nut Bay is located next to the Marina and provides stunning views of Deep Bay and neighbouring British Virgin Islands. The food is excellent and you can enjoy a pre-lunch or dinner dip in the pool, and relax in an overwater hammock or on one of the many comfy loungers.

If you want to venture further afield, Oil Nut Bay provides a regular ferry service to North Sound, Virgin Gorda to enable you to try other places to eat or just to visit another stunning beach.

The heart of Oil Nut Bay is the Beach Club. Here you will find a world class restaurant, convivial bar, a recreation area and an exceptional tiered pool stretching towards the white sand beach. There are expansive sun terraces and shady spots for you to relax and unwind. Oil Nut Bay offers Hobie Cat sailing, snorkelling, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, tennis, pickle ball, volleyball and beach games, which are all complimentary.

The waters around Virgin Gorda are excellent for Reef fishing, Deep Sea fishing and Inshore fishing. Anegada, which is close by, is the best place for Bone fishing and this can easily be arranged for you.

For an additional charge Oil Nut Bay offers wakeboarding, water-skiing, kiteboarding, wing-foiling, tubing and sea-bobbing.

Diving can be arranged with Dive BVI who are situated at the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour and the staff at Oil Nut Bay will arrange transportation (chargeable) for you.

Oil Nut Bay is great for kids, and the Nut House Kids Club offers the Ranger’s Kids’ Programme. There is also a playground at Oil Nut Bay for the little ones.

Oil Nut Bay has a stunning 3 tiered swimming pool complete with waterfall and swim-up bar serving delicious snacks and your favourite drinks. There is a fitness centre and studio offering Pilates, Pilates reformer and yoga. Oil Nut Bay also offers spa services in the privacy of your villa or suite or at the Sundura Spa.

Complimentary wi-fi is provided throughout the resort.

Electric carts are provided with every villa and suite, daily housekeeping and nightly turndown service is provided, transfers are available within the North Sound, Virgin Gorda on Oil Nut Bay’s regular scheduled ferry and a mobile/cell phone is provided for local calls. Yoga mats are provided in every suite and villa, and tea and coffee is replenished daily. You will be welcomed to Oil Nut Bay with a cold towel, refreshing drink and a gift in your suite or villa.

The Nut House Kids Club at Oil Nut Bay caters for teenies, tweens and teens and is run by professionals who will make your child’s holiday one to remember. They will learn about the flora and fauna of Virgin Gorda, the migratory patterns of the humpback whale and other fascinating facts about the BVI. Of course there are plenty of games, books and toys to keep them occupied as well. They will be well looked after and supervised at all times.

Oil Nut Bay provides a nanny service for younger children so if parents would like to enjoy a romantic dinner, an experienced nanny can be provided.

The Nature Centre at Oil Nut Bay is a tranquil spot for all ages to learn about the flora and fauna of Virgin Gorda, and you absolutely must visit the Rescue Barn to meet the rescue horses, emus and other animals including rescue tortoises.

Oil Nut Bay has an on-site medical clinic.

The Sundara Spa at Oil Nut Bay on Virgin Gorda epitomises relaxation, tranquillity, and perfect peace. This overwater spa is where you can enjoy a variety of treatments and holistic programmes to reset your mind, body and spirit.

Travelling from the UK to the British Virgin Islands

The most direct way is from Gatwick to Antigua with British Airways and onwards to Tortola with inter-Caribbean Airways, which is also a non-stop flight. Virgin Atlantic fly from Heathrow to Antigua and the onward flight is with inter-Caribbean Airways to Tortola. Alternatively, BVI Holidays can charter a private aircraft just for you and your party. You will be met when you disembark your transatlantic flight in Antigua, and fast-tracked through immigration and customs and taken to your waiting aircraft.

Travelling from Scotland

Flights from Edinburgh and Glasgow can also be arranged to connect with the Gatwick and Heathrow flights on certain days. Flights from regional airports can be arranged through Paris or Amsterdam to St Maarten and onwards to the BVI.

Travelling from New York, Boston or Miami

If you would like to have a few nights in New York, Boston or Miami before heading to BVI, this can also be arranged. You can either fly onwards via Puerto Rico which is a 35 minute hop over to the British Virgin Islands or again, a private charter can be arranged. There is a direct flight from Miami to Beef Island, Tortola.

Travelling from the USA

Depending on where you are in the USA, you can fly to Miami or San Juan, Puerto Rico and onwards to the BVI, or another option is to fly to St Thomas and take the ferry to Tortola. BVI Holidays can also arrange a private charter from St Thomas into Anegada, Tortola or Virgin Gorda.

Larger aircraft cannot land in the BVI which is why the islands remain unspoilt, uncrowded and uncommercialised.
