Dining

Lambert Beach Resort and Spa’s beachfront restaurant has stunning views. Turtle Restaurant offers a mix of Caribbean and Mediterranean fusion while Turtle Lounge Bar is a great lunch spot, serving favourites like pizza, burgers and healthy dishes. The pool bar is another option where you can grab a panini or other tasty snacks, or just float on over to Pelican swim-up bar for a refreshing drink.

Lambert Beach Resort also offers a room service menu if you would like to enjoy a meal on your patio or in the comfort of your guest room.

There are other dining options only a short drive away from Lambert Beach Resort – Red Rock Restaurant and Bar, Brandywine for fabulous food in a romantic setting, or you can drive, or take a cab into Road Town, the capital of the British Virgin Islands for a wide choice of excellent restaurants. If you like sushi, you simply have to visit Marche Sushi at Trellis Bay, less than 10 minutes drive.

Activities

Lambert Beach Resort is mainly about wonderful relaxation, however at nearby Trellis Bay you can catch the ferry and spend a day exploring on Virgin Gorda. You can also take a short 12 minute flight to Anegada, hire a scooter or mini moke and head for the fabulous beaches and beach bars or go bone fishing with a local guide.

You can also book a stand-up paddleboarding tour through the mangroves at Trellis Bay with Groundsea Adventures or head into Road Town, the capital of the BVI and take a high flying tour with the Original Virgin Canopy Tour company – this is similar to zip-lining but safer and quieter, offering spectacular views of Tortola, then finish with a visit to the Botanical Gardens also in Road Town. Lots to do if you want to do it!

Amenities

The Spa at Lambert Beach is situated next to the white sand beach and offers a variety of treatments from massages to relaxing facials, manicures and pedicures.

Wi-fi is complimentary throughout the resort and Lambert Beach also offers a shuttle service to and from the airport which is less than 10 minutes drive. If you stay for 5 nights or more, the shuttle is complimentary.

Lambert Beach also has a great conference/events facility which is perfect for weddings, conferences or a family celebration.

Travelling to the BVI

Travelling from the UK to the British Virgin Islands

The most direct way is from Gatwick to Antigua with British Airways and onwards to Tortola with inter-Caribbean Airways, which is also a non-stop flight. Virgin Atlantic fly from Heathrow to Antigua and the onward flight is with inter-Caribbean Airways to Tortola. Alternatively, BVI Holidays can charter a private aircraft just for you and your party. You will be met when you disembark your transatlantic flight and fast-tracked through immigration and customs and taken to your waiting aircraft.

Travelling from Scotland

Flights from Edinburgh and Glasgow can also be arranged to connect with the Gatwick and Heathrow flights on certain days. Flights from regional airports can be arranged through Paris or Amsterdam to St Maarten and onwards to the BVI.

Travelling from New York, Boston or Miami

If you would like to have a few nights in New York, Boston or Miami before heading to BVI, this can also be arranged. The onward flight is via Puerto Rico which is a 35 minute hop over to the British Virgin Islands or again, a private charter can be arranged.

There are no direct flights to the BVI which is why the islands remain unspoilt, uncrowded and uncommercialised. From the summer of 2023, there will be a flight from Miami direct to Tortola.
