The Calabash is situated next to the beautiful white sands of L’Anse Aux Epines Beach and was named the No. 1 hotel in the Caribbean by Trip Advisor in 2017. It is owned and managed by the Garbutt family who bought the hotel in 1987. Since then the Calabash has evolved into the world class luxury resort it is today.

Diving is available at an additional charge and ScubaTech have their base at Calabash. Grenada is a diver’s paradise and has some of the very best reef and wreck dives in the Eastern Caribbean. With over 30 sites, both novice and experienced divers have a wide variety of exciting underwater excursions to choose from which are all just short distances from the shore.
2 floodlit tennis courts are also available for guests to use, with racquets and balls provided.

At the Calabash, you have a choice of Bed and Breakfast, Half Board or All Inclusive options. The cuisine is excellent and in the morning, you have a choice of breakfast on the stunning sands of L’Anse aux Epines beach or served to you on your balcony or patio by your own personal maid.
Calabash has two restaurants – the Rhodes Restaurant for that fine dining experience and the Beach Club where lunch, tapas and cocktails are served between 11:30 and 4p.m. daily.
